Alan Prosser is a world class DJ and producerwith many years of experience playing out, producing and engineering music. Countless fans know him and his work under different guises but one thing that always remains constant is Alan's ability to rock a crowd and create quality popular dance music.
After having over 100 releases and selling more than 200,000 records, 6 years ago Alan moved away from the harder edged sound and back to the original house groove he started with. Alan's sets are a fusion of deep Tech and Progressive house highlighted by uplifting percussion and deep dark bass line grooves, a sound that to grow hit new heights during summer 2008 in Ibiza. Although in his productions he always keeps the harder edge, he is always pushing musical boundaries. He is currently releasing tracks on Southern Lights records (UK) and ODA Digital records (Germany), in between remixing and working on his new album.
Alan is a technology whizz kid both with his studio work, and in his live/dj sets, where he uses Tracktor Scratch professional, a laptop, Allen & Heath midi effects and a whole host of other tricks to make sure the audience has the best sound quality as well as music selection. Alan manages to keep his sets unique by combining his own productions with one-off 'Alan Prosser' edits of other tracks.
Having played alongside some of the biggest names in music such as; Sister Bliss, Derek Carter, Sander Kleinenberg, Graham Gold, Darren Pearce, Lucien Foort, Brandon Block, John 00 Fleming, Todd Terry, John Kelly, Judge Jules, Luke Slater and Green Velvet, Alan has experienced crowds from an intimate 100 right up to 6000 at Gatecrasher Australia.
During Alan's production career that has spanned 20 years, he has also had the pleasure to work with such people as Al McKenzie (D:ream), Marl Luvdup, Angie Brown (Bizarre Inc) to name a few. Alan has also played in some the best know clubs and venues around the UK, including the Gardening Club, Camden Place, Leisure Lounge, Hanover Grand & The Cafe de Paris for legendary promoters like Peach and Sunnyside UP.
Alan has had airplay on numerous radio stations including on Radio One (Judge Jules) and Kiss Fm (Graham Gold). Alan's latest assignment is a guest mix slot on Andy Duguid's Radio Volum (Norway) show on Saturday 13th December.
