DYLOOT is without a doubt one of the most renowned trance djs on the United States west coast. Best known for his warm stage presence and alluring performance, Dyloot elevates the the dance floor with his progressive blend of deep and melodic trance. His smooth mixing style is sure to take your soul on a euphoric and blissful journey and will leave you captivated.
Dyloot and Steve Baltes of Germany began producing under the name DEEP VOICES in 2004. Their trans-atlantic partnership has united their styles of deep and melodic trance. They have composed an array of trance releases on international labels and have received ongoing support from many A-List djs.
Throughout his career, Dyloot has played alongside many of the worlds finest djs. Most notably Armin Van Buuran, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, and Markus Schultz.
Beginning in 1995, Dyloot began DJing in the San Francisco underground dance scene. As the scene quickly grew, so did Dyloot's dj career. In 1997 he stepped into the realm of event promotion and started SKILLS Productions.
SKILLS quickly became one of the largest electronic music event promoters in California and the United States. Skills' events continue to feature incredible productions hosting the top electronic acts from all over the world in 1999, Dyloot and Tom Slik opened their record store Skills DJ Workshop in Berkeley, which continues to provide one of the largest vinyl selections for electronic music. Currently Skills is one of the last remaining dance music stores in the San Francisco bay area.

STEVE'S BIOGRAPHY
1971 Born near Düsseldorf (Germany)
1984 Impressed by the work of Kraftwerk and Visage Steve bought his first Synthesizer. In the following years he saved all money he could get to buy used analog synth..s, sequencers and beatboxes. Built up of a small electronic home studio.
1986-1993 Self study in harmony and music electronics. Keyboard in various local music groups. New age solo performances. Conclusion of his band activities to concentrate on his solo work. Inspired by the musical style hardtrance at the beginning of the 90..s he discovered trance music as the development of classic electronic and new age music. Production of some trance style tracks (including the track "stand ready"). Contact to the german cult trance label Le Petit Prince.
1994 First record deal at Le Petit Prince. Release of the "Exxcelsior" E.P. First remix: Pech "Smile on your Face". Remix: U96 "Love Religion". Remix: Nikolai "Ready to Flow".
1995 Various releases on Le Petit Prince and other labels like Urban and EMI. First solo CD/album "Pictures in Rhythm" (voted as No.1 techno album in the german tendance magazine). First coopertation with Harald Grosskopf. Foundation of Cyclone Tracy with Paul Hutsch, release of "Piano in Trance" (used as tv trailer by the german premiere television).
1996 Club Tools a division of edel records germany rereleased "Piano in Trance" (20 german dance charts). Videoclip "Piano in Trance" directed by Russel Curtis (Prodigy, Marusha) was shot in the UK. Foundation of N-Tribe with Harald Großkopf (ashra, Klaus Schulze), release of the "Phreakwaves" E.P. Single CD Exxcelsior "Waiting" with Wofgang Flür (Ex-Kraftwerk) on EMI. Numerous remixes for artists including U96 and Future Breeze.
1997 Joining Ashra on their successful japan tour, concerts in Tokio and Osaka. "Burg Herzberg" open air cocert with ashra (22.000 spectators). Ashra Live at KLEM Festival netherlands. Release of the ashra KLEM live recording under the name "Sauce Hollandaise". Solo 12inch "A Kiss Round Midnight", featured on Tiestos "Forbidden Paradise" Compilation and many more.
1998 Remix of the ashra live recordings taken during the 97 japan tour. Release: atshra live in Japan Vol.1.
Several remixes and releases on labels including Go for It, Suck me Plasma. Second Solo CD "Rhythm of Life".
Joining Sunya Beat for the "Burg Herzberg" open air and continueing studio work.
1999 Release of the Sunya Beat CD "Dehli Slide". Several remixes and releases. Extended germany tour with "Das Zeichen" the new project of former Ton Steine Scherben member Dirk Schlömer. Coproduction of three tracks on the Das Zeichen CD "Church o.e".
2000 First cooperation with U.K DJ John Johnson "Rotation" by Sonic Tribe released on Journey Records. Third production for the U.S trance label Frequency-8 "Light of a 1000 Angels" by Mystre. First release on Propeller/Harem Records "The Touch" by Baltes vs. Stevens (no cooperation, new solo project). Further remixes and releases on different labels. Steve..s studio moved to Dormagen near Cologne. Ahsra concert at the academy of arts Berlin/Germany. Cloned Mind (Steve Baltes & Nikolai) live act at "Goliath Rave" Bern/Switzerland.
2001 Release of the Cyclone Tracy single "Six Strings to Heaven". Second Release with John Johnson "Reaction" on Alphabet City. New Album with Harald Großkopf and Axel Heilhecker "4×3" released by Manikin Records. First US solo gig at Frequency-8 "Festival of the Light" Steve Baltes live at "White Wolf" Rave in Zurich/Switzerland.
2002 Steve Baltes US Tour, gigs in San Francisco (Spundae, "Super Duper SciFi" at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium), Seattle, Los Angeles (Tekno Club) and Portland. Production of the Harald Grosskopf CD "Digital Nomad" mix and mastering of Ashra..s "Live in Japan" Volume 2 CD.
2003 N-Tribe (aka Harald Gosskopf & Steve Baltes) live act at "Club 16 Tons" Moscow/Russia. Steve Baltes live act at "Popsikle 5" San Francisco/USA. ReRelease of "a Kiss round Midnight" by Steve Baltes on Dancing Spirit Recordings USA.
2004 Production of the new Harald Grosskopf CD "Yeti Society". Sunya Beat live act at the "Ricochet Gathering" Jelenia Gora/Poland. Steve Baltes live act at "Planet New Year" San Francisco/USA.
2005 Steve Baltes live act at 1015 San Francisco/USA. Deep Voices DJ set at "Love Parade" San Francisco/USA. Release of "Incoming Transmission" by Deep Voices (aka Jason "Dyloot" & Steve Baltes). "A New Beginning" by Deep Voices stayed 8 weeks in the swiss dance charts (SDC) and reached up to 23.
2006 "Alone Again" by Deep Voices became 1 in the dutch dance charts. International record releases on labels including Adjusted Music, Noys, Maximal and more.
Deep Voices earned worldwide attention by DJ..s including Paul van Dyck, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren and many more. Release of Deep Voices "Imagenetic" including a remix by Mac Zimms. Release of Deep Voices "Rising" including a remix by Robert Nickson & Thomas Datt. Deep Voices DJ Sets in San Francsico (1015) & Los Angeles/USA.

2008 Deep Voices signed Cloud9Music, part of the armada music group. Deep Voices DJ set "ETD POP 08" / 17.000 visitors. Release of "Your Picture" by Deep Voices ( including a remix by Robert Nickson ). Deep Voices "Your Picture" becam tune of the month in DJ-MAG. Steve Baltes peforms with Manuel Goettschings band ashra as headliner of the metamorphose festival in japan / 30.000 visitors.
