Michael Burian
Michael Burian belongs in his country to the best known Artists of the modern music scene.
But his reputation has already spread far outside the Czech Republic. Michael is recognized worldwide not only as a great DJ, but also as Producer, Owner of a Label and a Promoter. He has been several times awarded in his country as the “Best DJ of the Year”.
No other DJ from Czech Republic is driving so much attention of the crowd as Michael.
He is filling clubs not only all around his country but also at Ibiza, USA, India and all across Europe.
Out of the Music fields Michael has taken part in the Campaign against Communism in Czech Republic. Together with the former President Vaclav Havel, Michael has been encouraging people in his country to come to the Elections and make a further step on the way to Democracy.
Year 2007 is not only about the building up of DJs career, but especially the building of its own label Bohemian Recordings. Here at the end of 2006 released the single Wacker Drive, which introduced the world premiere in New Delhi India. Already shortly after the issue of the track it occupied the front possitions of sales charts on servers as Junodownload.com or Trackitdown.com and trance guru Paul van Dyk is so delighted that he presented it several times in his radio shows.
In May 2007 saw the light of the world new single From Berlin 2 Prague, again on label Bohemian Recordings. As the name suggests, the piece reflects the current events on the Berlin scene and brings elements of electro to Michael typical progressive sound.
In June 2007 Michael released his first DVD what summarized his former career as a visual presentation, including parts of his shows. For better communication with fans Michael agreed with the offer to start his own radio show on the internet Dance Radio.
During a first season of show called Sound Terminal Michael gets solid fans base and he was offered the new show Bohemian Session on VONYC radio, where broadcasts, for example, Paul van Dyk and Judge Jules. In early 2008 acquired Michael as the first Czech DJ the invitation of Winter Music Conference in Miami. It is considered most important event of the dance scene - something like the Cannes Festival in the film industry.
Michael here at the request of the Stanton introduced a new device CCT 1m, which is the face of. The importance of participation in the conference and the subsequent tour of the USA and to testify that Michael was approached by representatives of the Czech Centre in the U.S. with an offer to further cooperation. At the same time, outside the traditional nomination in the domestic polls like Dance Awards, gets Michael two nominations in the poll SeeMe, the South-East European Music Event. Among the few best to get in the category of Best House DJ and the best songs are the way of his single Freakin.
